Numerical Simulation of Gas Dynamics in Complex Shock-Wave Structures Accompanying High-Altitude Jet Interactions of Operating Spacecraft

Abstract.

Results of numerical simulation of complicated shock-wave structures accompanying the jet interactions during operation of space and rocket technology articles at high altitudes are presented. Investigations were executed for studying the adaptive features of the program package OpenFOAM concerned with calculation of jet interaction gasdynamic characteristics at ground development of above articles. Experimental results used for testing at a ≠ 90° are published for the first time and they are of particular interest.
